Gymnastics Open House-June 21

Megan had a gymnastics open house to demonstrate her skills she has learned in the past 12 weeks of classes. She and her co-gymnasts showed us routines on the balance beam, uneven bars, trampoline, vault and floor. Megan is excited about this sport and is looking forward to showing all of her grandparents her tumbling acts. She is also looking forward to having a head-stand contest with her Papa Queen.

XRRA Rock Races-June 14

The day before Father's Day, the family all loaded up for a day long adventure. We went to the XRRA Rock Races. This is an event where these really big trucks race one another around a very technical and challenging course full of obstacles. Many of the vehicles turn on their sides, their tops or just break from the sheer difficulty.

Megan's 8th Birthday_June 8

Miss Megan turned 8 this past Sunday, but she had her party Saturday night. Megan decided she wanted a "Hannah Montana" party. She and all her friends dressed up as "Rock Stars" and sang karoke.

After the singing and dress up, dinner, cake and presents followed. Megan got lots of toys, a new "boom-box" of which her brothers were quite envious. She also got three music cds, a gift card to Barnes and Noble, "Hannah Montana" clothes and her favorite gift of all......
